About Us

Lillie K Curls was created by myself, Elana Lillian Mister (right), in honor of my grandmother Lillie K. Clark (left) on July 1, 2020. My grandma Lillie was one of the first people to support my dreams and aspirations of becoming a hairstylist. Every time I would go to visit her, she would be so eager to let me play in her hair and try out new hairstyles on her. No matter how drastic or how simple the style may be, she would always leave the chair with the biggest smile on her face, ready to tell everyone she came in contact with that her grand baby did her hair.

Not only was my grandma one of my biggest supporters, she also was a great role model. She was a successful, independent black woman that helped run her own business for about 25 years. She was a strong woman that never let people stop her when it came to reaching her goals and accomplishing things that she set out to accomplish. She never took no for an answer. I admired her drive and set out to be just as successful as her.

Unfortunately, my grandma passed away on September 5, 2018 at the age of 74. I know she is watching over me expecting me to be nothing less than the greatest. Therefore, I intend to make her proud by dedicating this entire brand to her.

Lillie K Curls is a brand that will present hair products promoting healthy hair as well as growth to help ensure that every man, woman, boy and girl feels confident and in love with their natural hair.
